Platinum/palladium printing originated in the 1870s and is still being used today because of its unparalleled durability. Platinum prints under archival glass have been estimated to have a life span of thousands of years.

Platinum prints have a wide greyscale tonal range, people wanting more contrasty images with the blackest blacks should look instead at silver gelatin prints (Coming soon).

Because of the chemistry, even prints taken from the same negative will have differences, making each print truly unique - especially when brush strokes are retained - giving you a one-off piece of art that will never fade or curl.

Unless requested unmounted, each palladium print has a museum-quality, UV reflective frame.

Enjoy!
